Starr, a starter in 1921 and
1923 broke an arm and a leg ( Ouch! ) in the Muldrow game and missed the
rest of the season.
**************************************
According to H.L. Arnold's scrapbook Coach
Henry Lucas felt the hit on Starr was "The dirtiest play I have ever
seen, they were deliberately trying to break all the bones they could on
the lad." Lucas felt such ill feelings towards Muldrow that Stilwell
would not play the Bulldogs in any sport until he departed in 1925.

Bill Holland was killed in World War II.
